Price Alerts on Telegram & Discord — Get Notified Where You Already Are
Get price drop alerts on Telegram and Discord, not just your browser. Connect every AlarmBot notification channel in about a minute.

You set a price alert, then walked away from your desk. The deal you'd been waiting weeks for finally landed — and your browser flashed a notification to an empty room while you sat on the couch with your phone in hand. Price alerts on Telegram and Discord fix exactly that gap. Instead of hoping you're staring at the right browser tab at the right second, the alert arrives in an app you already open a hundred times a day. By the end of this guide, you'll have price drops landing in Telegram, Discord, or your inbox — and you'll know which channel is worth using for what.

Why a Browser Notification Isn't Always Enough
Browser and email alerts do the job — right up until the moment that matters. You're away from your desk, phone in hand. Your laptop is running, but the browser is buried behind forty tabs and the popup goes unseen — or the alert reaches your inbox three emails deep, and you spot it an hour after the price already bounced back.
Price drops don't wait for you to be looking. A flash deal can last a couple of hours; a quiet overnight markdown might reverse by morning. The alert only helps if it reaches you while the price is still low — and the surest way to reach you is on the channel you already have open.
That's what notification channels are for. If you're brand new to this, our complete beginner's guide to price drop alerts covers your first alert — this post adds the places it can go.
Where AlarmBot Can Reach You Now
AlarmBot can now send a price-change alert to five different channels. You pick the ones you actually use, connect them once, and every alert goes to all of them:
- Browser push — the classic notification from the extension, in the browser that's doing the checking. On by default.
- Email — a clean change summary sent to your account address. The one to keep for a searchable record.
- Telegram — a message from the AlarmBot bot, in your personal chat or a shared group.
- Discord (server channel) — a post in a channel on a server you manage, delivered by webhook.
- Discord DM — a private direct message from the AlarmBot bot, just to you.
Connecting any of them takes a single authorize click or a verified address. There are no bot tokens to paste, no API keys to hunt down, no webhook URLs to copy by hand — AlarmBot handles the plumbing, you approve the connection.
There's one simple limit: the Free plan keeps 2 channels active, and Pro raises that to 5. Every channel type works on both plans — the only difference is how many you can run at once, and browser push counts as one of them.
Set Up Telegram Price Alerts
Telegram is the fastest channel to connect, and the one most people reach for first. Here's the whole flow.
1. Open your notification settings
In the AlarmBot web panel, go to Settings → Notifications. You'll see your connected channels and a button to add a new one.
2. Add Telegram and pick a destination
Choose Telegram, then decide where the alerts should land: a direct message just for you, or a group you share with other people.
3. Open Telegram and press Start
AlarmBot generates a one-time link and shows an Open Telegram button. Tap it, and Telegram opens on the bot's chat. Press Start for a DM, or pick the group you want and Telegram adds the bot for you. There's no code to copy and no username to type — the link itself is the connection.
4. Done — the bot confirms in the chat
The bot replies right there in Telegram with a short "connected" message, and the settings dialog updates itself. From then on, every tracked price change shows up in that chat, complete with the product image and a link straight back to it.
Use a direct message for your own private watchlist, and a group when the deal is shared — a household waiting on an appliance, or a team watching a competitor's pricing. Everyone in the group sees the drop the moment it lands.
Set Up Discord Price Alerts
Discord works two ways, depending on whether you want alerts somewhere a whole server can see them or a private message to yourself.
Server channel
Choose Discord → Server channel. AlarmBot sends you to Discord's own authorization screen, where you pick the server and the channel you want. Approve it, and AlarmBot posts a quick test message to confirm the connection works.
After that, every price change lands in that channel as a tidy embed — product image, AlarmBot's name, and a link. It's a natural fit for a deals channel your community follows.
Direct message
Prefer to keep it to yourself? Choose Discord → Direct message. AlarmBot authorizes through Discord, adds you to its own Discord server (Discord only allows a bot to DM you when you share a server with it), and sends a test message. Once that arrives, you're set.
Discord blocks direct messages from bots unless you allow "Direct Messages from server members" in your Discord privacy settings. If the connection reports that the DM was rejected, switch that setting on and try again — it's the one snag people run into.
Email and Browser Push — The Ones You Already Know
Two channels need almost no explanation, because you've likely used them since day one.
Email connects in a single click and sends alerts to your account's verified address — no typing, no confirmation step. It's the one to keep for a written record you can search later.
Browser push is on from the start: the notification that pops from the extension in the browser running the check, taking you straight to the product page. If you live in your browser all day it's still the most immediate option — the messaging channels just extend that reach to everywhere else you are.
How Delivery Actually Works
The watching itself hasn't changed. AlarmBot still tracks prices the way it works on any website, through your browser and on a schedule. Notification channels change only what happens after a change is found: the delivery.
When a tracked price actually changes, that single change is sent out to every channel you've connected — and only then. A value that hasn't moved sends nothing, so adding more channels doesn't mean more noise, just the same alerts in more places.
Want even fewer pings? Each track carries an Alert Rule: keep the default and every change notifies, or narrow it down — "drops below your target", "any decrease", or a stock page finally saying "in stock". The rule decides whether an alert fires; your channels decide where it lands. Set it from the track's menu in the panel.
You only hear about real changes — one message per changed product, and nothing at all when a price holds steady. Delivery is best-effort and fast rather than a heavyweight queue: the right trade for a price ping, where being told now on the channel you chose beats a slower system that arrives late.
So your browser keeps watching in the background, and you no longer have to sit in front of it to catch the result. Leave AlarmBot running, get on with your day, and the drop finds you on Telegram or Discord.
What's Coming Next: WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, LINE, and WeChat
Telegram, Discord, email, and browser push are live today. Four more channels are on the way, and you'll spot them in the settings marked Coming Soon. Each one depends on business approval from the platform, so they'll switch on one at a time as those clear, rather than all at once. Anything you connect now keeps working exactly the same when they arrive.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to keep my browser open?
Yes — AlarmBot checks prices through your browser, so it needs to be running to catch a change. What's new is where the alert then goes: to Telegram, Discord, or email, so you don't have to be watching the browser yourself.
Will I get spammed?
No. You get one message per real price change — and if you've set an Alert Rule on the track, like "drops below your target", only for the changes that match it. A price that holds steady sends nothing, and there are no "similar deal" suggestions padding the feed — just the alerts you asked for.
Is it free?
Yes. Every channel type works on the free plan, with two channels active at once. Pro raises that to five if you want browser push, email, Telegram, and both Discord options all running together.
Can I use more than one channel at once?
That's the point. Connect several, and every alert goes to all of them — a Discord post for your community and a Telegram DM for yourself, from the very same price drop.
Get Your Alerts Where You Live
The best notification is the one you actually see. For years that meant a browser popup and an email — fine at your desk, easy to miss anywhere else. Now the alert can follow you to the app that's already open on your phone. Pick the channels you use, connect them in about a minute from Settings → Notifications, and let the next price drop come find you.
